Hello,

Do helicopters get cover from being behind buildings? Or are all aircrafts considered to be in open terrain (no cover) at all times?

Thanks in advance,

Marwan

Depends...

V1 or V2 rules?

If it's V1, are you using the "Advanced aircraft rules" (which are not found in the rulebooks, but on FFG's website)?

"Vanilla" V1, buildings don't block LOS, although units have a maximum range applied to them when shooting at aircrafts.
If it's with the Advanced rules, it depends if the aircraft is at low or high altitude.

Hey Martin! I am playing with V2 (Battlefront edition).

Where can I go to find additional rules for aircraft? How do I designate an aircraft as low or high altitude?

Sorry then...

I don't have enough experience with V2. Didn't play it with aircraft...
I hated V2 enough to not touch it again.

Maybe someone else can answer?

From memory however, they used something similar to the advanced aircraft rules from V1...
