So, Slave 1 came out before Scum… as an Imp unit… how’s that going to work after Scum? Some units, like Y-Wings and Slave 1 will be able to fly multiple factions? For example, Slave 1 can be Imp or Scum depending ?

Yup. New pilot cards are in the new faction, old pilot cards are in the old faction.

Yes. Assuming you mean "Firespray 31," the "Most Wanted" expansion includes materials for a Scum faction Firespray. The "Slave I" title card doesn't have a "faction only" restriction, so it can be used on Scum Boba Fett or whatever. There's a new title, too: "Andrasta." Ditto for the HWK-290/"Moldy Crow."

And the generic Scum Firespray pilot costs 35 points, so the 3x Firespray squadron remains unique to the Imperials.

You could fly 5 naked Y-Wings with either Red or Orange firing arcs, but why would you?

Scum has a much better ability. Imperial is rarely played, and then it might be for the PS.

Yes. Most Wanted acts as a conversion kit for the Firespray, HWK-290, Y-wing and Z-95 (pilot cards, dials, base templates) and includes 2x Z-95s and a Y-wing (ship models and plastic bases).

Yup, all four of the new Scum Slave-I pilots are included in the 'Most Wanted' box.

Which is a super-bummer. I mean, its Fett. Sure he never quite fit in with Imperials and fits better with Scum, but still.

I agree. Imperial is really useful...you just have to incorporate it into your flying style. Awesome for strafing and bomb drops.

The Scum versions of both Boba Fett (reroll for each enemy ship at range 1) and Kath Scarlet (extra attack die out the auxiliary arc) are straight-up powerhouses. Their Imperial versions require some degree of finesse, and you have to really work to use their abilities to maximum advantage... like they're trying to be something they're not...

Imp Kath w/ Mangler Cannon should be a good option. Always dish out a crit and they either take a crit or a stress?

Krassis w/ Mangler can be a better option, as well. I see add Recon Specialist and he's doing well.

Auto Thrusters only works at range 3 or outside arcs. Soontir Fel (or even PtL Turr) won't be in arc very often. Now Rebel Captive, however, will mostly shut down PtL Interceptors. Thats nothing new, however.

I'm not sure if this is necessary, but a minor clarification: The Most wanted pack contains conversion kits for 1 Firespray, 1 HWK-290 and 1 Y-Wing (dials, pilot cards, base templates). It also includes 2 Z-95s and 1 Y-Wing with all the necessary components (models, dials, pilot cards, base templates). There is not a conversion kit for a rebel Z-95 in there, just enough components for the included 2 models.

So, don't stock up on Rebel Z-95s to help with S&V lists, they are not compatible.

Officially. It looks like you could use the extra base cardboard and pilot cards and fly double the included ships and use a Rebel/Imperial ship dial, and have everything else official.

Just be aware that using the rebel dial is not technically tournament legal, and you may run into issues at a Competitive level event. You very likely will run into issues at a Premier level event (Nationals/Worlds).

Also the base templates are two sided, and the package is designed to support 2 models in any config. It is not designed to support 3. So it's likely your list building options may be constrained based on which pilots are on which sides of the base templates.

It's just not a good idea to build your list around mis-matched components. The kit is really designed for the two Z-95s that are in there.

Thats why I said "Officially." You'd also run into problems playing against rebels or imperials, as the back of your dial would match that of your opponent, and it would be much easier to mix them up as you are less likely to take the extra precautions normal in a mirror match. We also don't know (I think) how many Z95 base templates there will be in the box, but I would assume at least 4, to allow players to run two of the same generic. So while it will limit your options, just like Imperial Aces, like Imp Aces it may be the case where some of the pilots are entirely not worthwhile, and the only thing keeping you from using 2 rebel Z95s are the dials.

Ya, these FFG guys are jerks. They really know how to take our money. If you already own a Firespray and a HWK-290, then the "Most Wanted" pack allows you to build a few different 100-point Scum faction squads out of the gate. And then there are 3 other Scum expansions released simultaneously designed strictly to suck any remaining money out of our wallets...
