I'm missing a stand for Steam Park and this is what it shows for the publisher on BGG:

How do we know which publisher is the correct one?

And is there some kind of database for publishers, with contact info? (email address/phone number/website)

Thanks

The box has the name of the publisher on it. Most of the times the rules also have the name of the publisher somewhere in it. Just visit their website and go to the "contact" page.

Draed is correct - also, if you can't narrow it down by what's on the box, region can sometimes help. For instance, if you bought your copy in the US, you should probably not contact Cranio Creations or Heidelberger Spieleverlag, as they're based in Italy and Germany respectively (you can tell from their websites).
