Instead of rolling for a random event - I decided to make some cards. Why not just shuffle these cards and choose one:

Enjoy!

Always good to see the fanware.

(I actually told Greg he could use cards for some of the functions in the game, but he wanted to stay with the charts and dice.)

Just click on the cards and choose original size - save to your computer then print.

Nifty. Now just add 6 (or more) new events.

Cards you made are really cool stuff but ... random events are determined by 2d6 rolls which means that some are more likely to happen while some are less likely.

Right, you should print this number of cards for each event if you want to simulate a roll of 2D6:

Event 2: 1 Card
Event 3: 2 Cards
Event 4: 3 Cards
Event 5: 4 Cards
Event 6: 5 Cards
Event 7: 6 Cards
Event 8: 5 Cards
Event 9: 4 Cards
Event 10: 3 Cards
Event 11: 2 Cards
Event 12: 1 Card

Or maybe still roll 2d6 but put add the roll # to the card to match it up?.... saves on trees, anyway.

Good idea to print off additional cards, but I put the die icon with the roll number as well on each card so you could use the cards either way.
