I use 40mm base widths with my 20mm figues, but that's not an option above.

We played our first game yesterday evening using the Lite rules just to get us off the ground, and we played with the 28mm figures we use for games under "Black Powder" rules, which have bases with a frontage of 40mm.

The game was a great success, and though I have certain reservations about the use of cards, they certainly added a different dimension.

I was worried about the cards, but after I found out the cards did not control the game, it was good. Like you said, the cards only add a different dimension. I like how the cards do not control the game, but allow the players to modify the game. Also, the cards add a level of fog of war to the game.
