Yeah, caught it on the radio drive home a few minutes ago.

I fancy a TOS retrospective tonight to remember Leonard. Maybe Invasion of the Body Snatchers if I can find it. And finish with a bit of Fringe.

LLAP.

Update: Watched Amok Time. You know what, I'm going to make it a Nimoy weekend remembrance. Anyone else planning to watch something?

Perhaps I'm a wimp of an old man, but today I again shed a genuine tear at the passing of someone I never met, yet feel I know. It doubly pains me that I also "feel I know" many of his closest friends & co-stars, who mourn today as well.

My favorite Spock quote was, alas, not Mr. Nimoy, it's from one of the novels (I don't recall which, apologies):
"Because one searched and found nothing does not indicate that nothing was there to be found." We found you and your friends, Mr. Nimoy, and our lives are richer because of you. Thanks ... and prosper.

I think I'm going to watch that episode too.

I am glad Mr. Nimoy was brought back for the new Star Trek movies. I thought it was a really nice gesture.

Mr. Nimoy... our beloved Mr. Spock,

Thank you for the years of entertainment, knowledge, wisdom, and life lessons. You will be sorely missed.

I have been, and always shall be, your fan.

He's not really gone... as long as we remember him.

There are good ships,
and there are wood ships,
The ships that sail the sea.
But the best ships, are friendships,
And may they always be.
