Do you think the rules for this would be usable with Travel Blokus?

Well the grid for Travel Blokus is 14x14 rather than the 20x20 of the full size Blokus (and City Blocks). So it wouldn't be possible,

Well if you are going to write some new rules ...

I nearly put in a extra sentence saying that it wouldn't be too difficult to alter the game to work on a smaller grid with just 2 colours (just as Blokus was altered) but I thought that was obvious.

Please let me know how you get on with this "variant", I'm very interested to know how it pans out.

I'll give it a try and see how it works out. Thanks.

We tried this today. With 2 players on such a small board, the game was swayed very quickly as it wasn't very difficult to split the board easily. Thus, one player could nearly have been declared the victor without counting the points.

City Blocks works much better as a 4 player game.
