I just bought the game and played twice. It was good, but not as good as I had hoped, nonetheless a good game, anyways I bought some extra characters on Ebay, Pumpkin Jack & Boogie Woogie, for $4 each. Can the game add a 7th or 8th player?

I read this thread about Tokyo:

http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/867567/7-players

and seems to be fine there. How about in New York?

I guess you could add more players, but that would make it a little unbalanced for those monsters in new york [ie: the same effect as in tokyo]

It gets problematic because there are so many people attacking Manhattan that it's really difficult to stay long enough to get the advantages of being in Manhattan.

Custommade bigger board would fix the problem
I think it is playable with 7 or 8 players, but would be a bit "crowded". The citizens of New York wouldn't play a big role ^^
