For Elder sign check out this thread

http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1206829/nameless-festival-ar...

It is in the Eldritch Horror forum but the music in there will work for ANY of the Cthulhu games and it would probably be really good for Call of Cthulhu as well.

For Pandemic I highly recommend looking up the Mass Effect (videogame) soundtrack. It's a great soundtrack to keep up the tension but you won't really sit there listening to it, it's great background music.

Hello all. I don't normally play background music at my game group because people are always talking and cutting up, but I have 3 games that are screaming for some. Any recommendations would be welcome.

Sheriff of Nottingham - Some jaunty Renaissance minstrel style music.

Pandemic - Some tense music, maybe a Mission: Impossible style.

Elder Sign - Creepy X-Files style music.

If anyone can recommend any groups or albums that I can download from iTunes or find easily elsewhere, I would love to hear them. Thanks very much!

For Sheriff of Nottingham, which I am playing this weekend, I am actually trying that for the first time as well. I will be using Pandora and just do a station search of Game of Thrones. Has some upbeat type music along with tense stuff that could add to the negotiation.

I go to tabletopaudio.com

Have had fun making playlists. Each theme is a 10 minutes and can be looped. Plug in my headphones for a solo immersion or hook up to the stereo for ambiance with others. Highly recommend.

Sheriff of Nottingham- go real, find recordings of John Dowland(the album by Sting is great), the Baltimore Consort, maybe Thomas Tallis

Yeah, I don't really know what to recommend for the others.
