Draw pawns and print them on Kodak matt photo paper:


Fold them and glue (PVA) with white paper 180-250 g/m2 inside:


Cut corners:


Glue to thin cardboard (like Lomond paper box):


Ready pawns:


You can store a huge quantity of these pawns in a small (7x10 cm) paper box:
