The "Hilarious Spell" Variant, the Power of Fun

Magi have to resist the power of the "Hilarious Spell", a spell which is constantly present in the World of Magi.

You don't need no extra cards for this spell as its powers are innate in every player. It works even with the core set alone and is compatible with each and every incantation available for "Serpent's Tongue" so far.

The following paragraph tells you what this variant is all about.

____________________________________________________________________

While the caster has to pronounce the spell correctly and perform the gesture perfectly, his or her opponents have to try make the caster laugh by making faces or funny sounds or saying crazy things. Success will be rewarded by the caster's frown as laughing or even smiling are considered a misspell no matter the effort the caster made to present the best pronounciation or gesture ever. Only pronounciation and gesturing accompanied by the most serious pokerface ever are considered okay. Let the timer run as there are only 30 seconds to (learn and) cast the spell without smiling or laughing.

This interactive additive will make "Serpent's Tongue" even more fun.

Sounds like fun! It makes spell casting itself into more of a skill.
