My wife hates packing peanuts. Please use something else. You might be inadvertently affecting my ability to order games.

Cheers,

Hey! Some of us need those packing peanuts to re-use for when we ship out our own games. So keep them peanuts coming!

E-mail them and tell them you have a peanut allergy.

LOL... I've been meaning to blog on this problem myself. Going to give my business to the companies first that stop using these things.

To get rid of the boxes, I have to break them down, which involves dumping those floating little monsters out of the box into a trash bag. MESS!!!

Use the nice air cushions or something less tribble-like.

PLEASE!

You could always eat them, before the wife finds out.

The morning after receiving games would be fun... please video and post.

I recycle mine at a UPS store. Sometimes they'll take block polystyrene, but I've found that to be more hit & miss.

I actually wish they used cornstarch packing peanuts. You put them in water and they dissolve instantly. Then they can even go in the compost pile.

Yeah, my wife and I both dislike so many peanuts coming into the house.

They use to use paper. When they did it, if an order was close I'd pay more to order from Coolstuff so that I wouldn't get peanuts.

I love the cardboard triangles. My newest TV came packed in them, and I had eco-friendly packing materials for months.

I ask others in my group to save their boxes of peanuts for me, since I ship things from my home office all the time.

The problem isn't packing material, it's CHOICE of material.

The airbags are best.

Oh yes--- if I wasn't clear enough, I don't want them to just throw my games free-floating in cardboard boxes.

Packing them in with either air-bags or magic commons would be ideal.

The problem isn't the packing peanuts, the problem is that you're not buying enough games to efficiently fill a box without the need for space fillers. DUH. shake

See, that's what I thought at first--- so I just ordered more games. They kept increasing the box size on me.

I hate airbags. They are worthless and half the time not even full of air.

Keep the peanuts!

I don't like the airbags either. They are not very reliable, as some of them deflate very easily. Stick with the peanuts.

That is exactly what I do. It's great those stores allow me to bring them in and I'm happy to see the peanuts used again.

Yes...I suppose I'd still feel a little better myself with a greener alternative. I'm also terrible at getting them all to pour out of the box into a trash bag without static electricity making little bits of the peanuts fly all around, doing arc in the air to land on my fingers.

Yes, let's leave that to Amazon, except you forgot the part about stacking heavier things on top.

I ordered my copy of Puerto Rico Deluxe from amazon along with a lazy susan. They didn't include any packing at all, and I ended up with a slightly crunched PR box.

It was all good, though--- they gave me a 20% discount on the spot.

If anyone near San Jose, CA wants some packing material I have tons of peanuts and air pillows. Send me a note. (Well maybe not tons, but cubic meters anyway.) Free and local pickup only, I'm not going to mail a box of peanuts surrounded with a layer of games.

Thought to CSI and others: there seem to be strong preferences for and against peanuts. Would it be difficult or costly to offer customers a choice? I'd love to be able to opt out of the petro-peanuts in favor of air pillows or paper.
