How many allies could you play from your hand per turn?

Is there any limitation besides that you couldn't hold more than 3 at any time?

Maybe it's important to add, that you mean in the planning phase

I think you can play only one per round... let's wait for the official answer.

It has an impact on the strategies of the players and was often asked in my gaming group.

You can play more than one ally, if you have enough plot points, up to the maximum of 3 on the table.

Remember that whenever you play one ally you must spend one plot point (which is then put on the Ally card if it's related to your team). So to put two allies into play you need to spend 2 plot points, to put three allies you must spend 3.
