I'm sure they could have 1 tourney mod to monitor 2 players at once. WBC seems to be geared towards tournament play. If any place can pull it off, then it's them.

One option would be to have players take a picture of their roll every round, which could be audited on demand. And/or pictures must be submitted post-tourney for validation of results.

Another option would be to build a smart phone app that manages the dice for a group of networked players. But that would require a wireless network, and also completely eliminates the need for dice.

It also eliminates the need to gather in the same place to play ;P.

If it only manages the dice, you'll still need to be there in person to use the tiles, as well as maintain and display your game state. Making an app just for the dice is a small portion of what it would take to build a full RollftG app (not that it would necessarily be trivial).

I believe Geek & Sundry's Tabletop (hosted by Wil Wheaton) mentioned they would like to have cameras that can view what's in each players' hands for their show, but costing thousands of $$, they're too expensive.

Well, may as well do the tiles too. Add AI and online play too whistle

Buying a ready made table would be very expensive, but you could do it yourself for much cheaper. The webcam in my office cost $3 at the dollar store. Hook up a bunch of those to a PC running iSpy or something similar, et voilĂ !

Could it be affordable to rent such a table in the US? Tried to google it, closest I came was this: http://www.casinovendors.com/vendor/premier-casino-events-in...
