For all those with an interest in English history, the medieval/renaissance period, push-of-pike wargaming, Royalty in general...

you can follow the preparations for the reburial of King Richard III of England (d.1485)in Leicester Cathedral (now that the courts have turned down the attempt to have him buried in York with the rest of his family...) here:

http://kingrichardinleicester.com/

It will be an occasion full of pomp and ceremony - reburying a country's king after nearly 530 years of not knowing exactly where he lay is quite an event - and they actually found a form of service dating back to almost that period for reburial of royalty, which they will use for the service.

The remains will be taken from the site of his death, the battlefield of Bosworth, on March 22nd and will lay in the Cathedral until March 26th. The BBC website also has much news on the main and accompanying events surrounding the reburial.

What the hell? I just had a beer with him 2 weeks ago and he said it was only a nagging cold.

All due respect.

I found the Myths and Legends section a pretty good read.

Chris is taking about a different King Richard III. The one who was all into battles and armor and stuff.

Face it. You had a hunch at the table it was something more.

Specifically, he said:

"I'm hoarse, just hoarse. No need to call a hearse."

No, what he said was 'a nagging wife....'

Not popular among the ladies, our Dick Three.
