For Table M-4: Allied Fighter Cover, what DRMs are there that we are supposed to use to adjust the roll to 0- or 6+?

I know there is a -1 for Poor or Bad weather. But I don't see any additions that would create a 6+.

Just curious if I'm missing or something or the table is misleading that 6 is the highest roll.

On table B-7 "Random Events" a roll of 5 gives "Aggressive Little Friends" which results in a +1 modifier for table M-4.

Thanks. Haven't had any random events yet so hadn't really examined that table.

Random Events are triggered by a 66 roll when rolling for make-up of Wave of fighters.

Isn't that when you get into a new zone ?

Before rolling for possible resistance, you should roll 2d6 and if you have a double 6, there is a random event.

Random events are rolled up on the B.3 table for fighter waves.

From the rules;
18.0 RANDOM EVENTS (Optional Rules)
Random Events have been included as an option for those
experienced players wishing to add more detail to their missions.
Random Events come into play when a "66" is rolled on Table B-3.
Players not wishing to complicate play should treat a roll of "66" as a
"No Attack (c)" result instead. To incorporate Random Events, roll
on the following table whenever a "66" is rolled on Table B-3, and
implement the result.

Now that I think of it there was an article in "The General," Issue V24-6, for Mechanical Failure that required you to roll 2D6 in every turn and on a "12" you would have to rolled on the Mechanical Failure table.

This might be what you were thinking of Stefano.

I was aware of when random events occurred -- just haven't rolled any 66s yet.
