If playing with only one person on the rebel side controlling two characters, does the Legendary card only affect one of those two characters?

Heroic (if 3), and Legendary Reward (if 2) cards are given to every Hero character.

And whenever the guides refer to "all players", replace that in your mind with "imperial player and each hero character", and "rebel players" with "hero characters". This is important when dealing out XP and credits.

Honestly, I'd just recommend using all 4 hero characters for the campaign, even if there's just one player on the rebel side. Adds more ability variety, the game seems best balanced with 4 heroes, and it's not difficult at all to control 4 figures.

Essentially, if you can control multiple figures in a skirmish game, why not control multiple figures in a campaign?

But hey, to each their own.

The main disadvantage if one person plays 4 heroes is that you better wait to be able to afford 4XP class cards, otherwise remembering all of the abilities becomes a chore, and potentially makes the game very slow to play.

Wait.. if I give a Heroic card to each player, how does the bottom sentence work? I thought only one character got the special cards?

(Now I'm gonna have to re-read the rules guide.)

The card text works just fine. Every hero character gets the card and get buff in their health. There is only one extra activation token in a 3-hero game, it is given to one of the heroes at the beginning of the game (the mid part of the card). That extra token alternates between heroes from round to round (at least between 2 of them, the last part of the card).

I played the Tutorial and Aftermath as the Imperial against two heroes with the Legendary cards. The extra 10 health makes the heroes almost invincible.

Peace

The heroes aren't meant to be given Heroic/Legendary in the Tutorial...
