I recently discovered this 'lil gem of a game, and subsequently saw Dezza's awesome Link to the Past re-theme of it. I then found out that Iello was picking up the game and expanding the game with 4 Heroes! So I thought to myself, why not combine Dezza's idea with Iello's upcoming changes, which would work perfectly with a Zelda: Four Swords theme. And here's the result:

The Enemy cards, with the cardback shown on the right. I also kept Dezza's idea of the giant Cucco since I think it's a hilarious idea for some sort of variant.

The Four Links.
Green = Fighter, Red = Barbarian, Blue = Thief, Purple = Mage
Also shown is the cardback image for each Hero 'deck'.

Here are the Life Tracker/Reference Sheet Cards, and 4 Treasure Cards. I took a cue from Iello's version for these cards, which you can see in the Spielwarenmesse 2015 video. Use the front & back sides of the Reference Card to track your life. Take a face-down (i.e.: closed) Treasure card when you beat the dungeon once, and flip it over when you beat it a second time to indicate that you've won!

And finally, a tuckbox to store everything!

Very nicely done.

I'm going to have to nitpick the mixture of graphics styles for the enemies, having SNES and GBA. Having all GBA would probably look a lot nicer (I like consistency).

Also, it's a shame that Red Link doesn't fit in the card as well as the others. Does shrinking him to fit the card size make him look too small?

Other than that, beautiful work. You put a whole lot of effort into it, and I'm certainly envious of your version.

The majority of sprites and backgrounds were taken from the Gamecube release "Four Swords Adventures", which features primarily a "Link to the Past" style, mixed with "Wind Waker" inspired sprites (also seen in "The Minish Cap"). That game was also unique in that you used your GBA hooked up to the Gamecube, and the action often switches from the main screen to your GBA screen -- which is why the graphic design might seem a bit varied.

And yeah, Red Link could certainly be shrunk a bit in the cardback image.

Ah, wasn't sure if it was the Gameboy Advanced four swords version or the Gamecube one.
Only ever managed to play the GC version once with 4 players, was pretty awesome.
Was thinking the cucco, soldier and stalfos cards were made using the snes sprites.

Good eye! goo

The soldier is actually the same for both games, but the Stalfos and Cucco are indeed different:

I those cases I went with the LTTP versions since I liked 'em a bit more.

That is awesome. Any chance of getting the PnP files? I'd love to put together a copy for SuperMCGamer as a reward for completing his "Every Zelda in April" challenge!
