Anyone tried SWWaT with official solitaire rules:
http://www.avalanchepress.com/SolitaireSWWAS.php

Maybe this is a better choice than Silent War?

I know SW IS a great game and it is climbing fast on my wishlist.

But SWWaT is much cheaper and with a probably better replay value?

Very different kinds of gaming experiences. SW is an intense simulation, not unlike the old Stratomatic sports games. Replay value is probably incidental since if you play the full campaign that might take you a year. SWWaS is much lighter and a lot more varied (in terms of scenarios). It's also very luck dependent.

SW is reportedly almost out of print, if that's a factor for you.
