After the poker tourney (which took roughly 5 hours) we had about 2 hours for other games. After lengthy discussions and an abortive attempt to play "The Great Dalmuti" we settle on El Grande (which Scott called the "lesser of two evils" between El Grande and Puerto Rico - Scott doesn't much like board games :-)

Players: Andy, Eric, Randy, Scott, Bill

Scott concentrates on controlling Old Castille, Randy controlls all the 5s, Bill all the 4s, Eric and Andy sorta scattered everywhere. Randy is a clear leader after the second scoring round with Bill gathering a lot of points from many places. Despite efforts over the last three turns to reduce Randy's (and Bill's) lead(s) Randy scores well in the last round and actually increases his lead over Bill in second place. Andy is third, followed closely by Eric and not so closely by Scott. (Sorry, don't recall scores - I shouldn't wait two weeks to post a session report).

El Grande took the bulk of our remaining time and we called it a day.
