Back in the days when there were less maps we played every map back to back
Ooh a little higher, now a bit to the left, a little more, a little more, just a bit more. Oooh yes, that's the spot!
Melissa put these up on a blog, but they are worth repeating here.
Daughter the Younger (three and half) was playing Catch the Match
Daughter the Younger: "Oh no! I can't shuffle at all "
Melissa: "Why not?"
Daughter the Younger: "because I don't have shuffle muscles"
We went to a games day on Satuday. A game I was playing was still going when it was time to collect the kids, so Melissa went and picked them up and then all three of them came back for me.
There was a big game on one of the tables, and Melissa asked the Daughter the Elder if she recognised it.
"Yes, of course. It's Puerto Rico."
We were a bit surprised, so I asked her today how she know which game it was.
"Well, it's just like San Juan, so I knew it had to be Puerto Rico."
When I asked to elaborate she explained it had the roles, or at least most of the roles, that San Juan had.
Warms the cockles of your heart, really it does.

Congrats, folks, it's a GEEK! And tell your daughter I don't have any shuffle-muscles either! LOL!
