Well rated. Good game overall. Too bad they don't have the expansion in stock.
Base game can get pretty dull. But it's a perfect starter to a game night. Eases everyone in. Collecting sets of different things along side managing money which isn't terribly easy to come by. Rules offer a few different ways to tweak the game too.
Crossroads is a worthwhile expansion for this game. Every space now has 2 actions attach to it and you can only choose one of them. It makes the game more meatier as the base game has few options and almost feels scripted as the best move is typically transparent. NOT in crossroads.
It's a good game. Great for conventions. It's pretty and short and doesn't make you think too hard, so it's great as a rest between longer, heavier games. It's also super easy to teach (move to an open space in front of you, flip card(s), get points!). It would definitely be one of the first games I would replace if I were to lose mine. Currently looking for ways to bling out my copy.
