Fun little thing.

Let's compare Guard and Fenris. They're both 4 cost, 2 strength sentries that end the run. Fenris also has an extra subroutine that deals a brain damage, at the cost of taking a bad publicity when it rezzes. Is a brain damage worth a bad publicity?

Well, Stimhack tells us that a brain damage is equal to 9c. Data Dealer tells us that sacrificing an agenda is also worth 9c. Frame Job tells us that sacrificing an agenda is also worth a bad publicity.

So we get:

Brain damage = 9c = sacrificing an agenda = bad publicity.

Therefore Fenris is balanced in regards to Guard.

(okay yes, this is ignoring a lot of things like: influence, opportunity cost, Guard's trait, Stimhack's run, etc... Still fun)

And sure gamble shows us that 9 credits = 5 credits + 1 click + 1 card, but as we all know 1 click = 1 credit and 1 card = 1 click. Therefore, we can intuit from sure gamble that 9 credits = 7 credits.

I wish Fenris had 4 strength instead of an EtR sub.

Actually 1 click does not equal 1 credit or 1 card. Equal is a two-way relationship and while it's true that you can always trade 1 click for 1 card or 1 credit, you can't trade 1 card or 1 credit for 1 click. So 1 click > 1 card, and 1 click > 1 credit. Then the sure gamble equation becomes 9c = 5c + 1 click + 1 card > 7c.

(okay exactly know that, because we don't know the relationship between cards and credits as neither directly trade, though cards like Panic Button and comparing Professional Contacts vs Magnum Opus implies they are close in value)

And Biotic Labor shows us that 1 card + 1 click + 4 credits = 2 clicks.

So since 1 click = 1 credit, and 1 card = 1 click, we see that 6 clicks = 4 clicks.

Alternately, if we isolate the 1 card, we see that 1 card = 1 click - 4 credits, which can be simplified to 1 card = -3 credits. Your deck is over 130 credits in debt!

It's OK, just put a Magnum Opus in there. Because with MO, 2 credits = 1 click. Therefore 2 credits = 1 credit. So you're only 65 credits in debt, or is that 260?
