Very cool! It's amazing how people come up with ideas like this. This is a *whole* lot cheaper than buying ready made or kit trees. Looks like I'll be hitting the local hardware store tongight!

I've used scouring pads to make hedges before, but not trees. I used flock to give the hedges some color, so you could do the same thing here.
