I don't understand how parity rounds work exactly. When there is parity, each player lays down 3 cards. Do they proceed to draw cards from their piles of 3 cards, or from their original draw pile?

In a game of 4 players, doesn't this mean that the game will be over in just a couple of rounds? Each player has 13 (or is 12?) cards in his hand. A round with, say, 2 parities will use up 9 of his cards. A game can be over in 2 or 3 rounds! Games can end with some player/s never getting to go last (a huge advantage in this game it appears).
