They don't have the two animals I DID dissect in school: earthworm and cat (her name was Bonham).

The highest "lifeform" my kids have dissected are owl pellets.

Lastly, I didn't know until now that bat dissection was a thing.

I didn't get to dissect mice and frogs until college. We pithed a frog and then wired the heart to a primitive ECG and measured its pulse while we dripped chemicals on it.

Someone skinned their mouse and turned it into a hand puppet.

Fun fact: bats are not rodents and are more closely related to primates than mice. The bat order (Chiroptera) is the second largest mammalian order (Rodentia is the first) with over 1200 species known so far.
