With a little over one month to go and some information already posted on the official blog, let's get some discussion going on anticipated games that will be available at the 2015 spring GM.

I'm going for the first time and have spent the last couple of nights trying to (Google) translate blog posts and following links to designers' websites and twitter accounts (not an easy task in China, mind).

So far I've reserved a copy of Stereoman, mainly because it's cheap, comes with English rules and hey - it's called Stereoman!

Currently salivating over this one:
http://illgang.tumblr.com/

The auto translation makes no sense whatsoever, would anyone here mind providing an executive summary of what it's about? From what I gather it's a roll and move affair about spirit possession.

What's everyone else excited about so far?

About the possibility of going there and not going away from there with more games than I can reasonably play during 3 years of my life.

On a more serious note, I'm a bit excited about meeting Bauza.

My Fair Princess from Manifesty Destiny seems great, too: http://ash.jp/~md/html/game/p-make.htm

I also liked the mood of this one: http://illgang.tumblr.com/post/112968273881

I would also like to get my hands on Shinsei Maougun and expansion, I´ve been trying to find the original online to no avail.

This one (Spa Vs Spa or something) seems interesting from the looks of it, but there´s no more info and it seems it is only a prototype for now: http://gamemarket.jp/modules/weblog/details.php?blog_id=4170

Wisteria and Steam Wars seems cool, too.

You can meet him in Essen!

I was looking at the cost of a return flight... £469.01. Even cheaper than before.

That one, think it's called "Hyoumono", packs in a lot of youkai atmosphere. Unfortunately, looks like the run is limited to 100 games (they are taking reservations, though). Too bad, since once the rules are translated, looks like the components are largely language independent (unless you really need to know what the monster is called).

Unless it's been noted since ages ago, OKAZU Brand (you know, Hisashi Hayashi) does two new games for Tokyo Game Market: Go Da Cheese (simpler card game, 15 minutes) and Minerva (heavy resource management game, 90 minutes).

T-Club have new items. An expansion to Princess Escort, called Magic And Machinery 拡張(魔法と機械), A party game Connect Connect (こねくとこねくと), and a bluffing game Hokuhaku (コクハク) which is Confessions. Ithink there's another small game 【知ったか映画研究家】 Movie Expert Knew but I'm uncertain. I think that's actually from another circle called Pig Hut they met in Osaka.

Connect Connect by T-Club is now on BGG. It looks very interesting as it uses the lottery mechanism Ghost Leg, which I've never heard of before. In Japan it is Amidakuji: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_Leg

In Connect Connect, you use string to trace the link to the high scoring cards. The cards are face-down but you get to see two cards.

My current pre-orders:

Stereoman
"Hyoumono"
Minerva
Rolling Japan (for a friend)
"Mutugo Nanakumi" (for a friend)

Tried to get in touch with Manifest Destiny but haven't heard anything back. I was inquiring about My Fair Princess and a few older games.

I think Kuro isn't taking any preorders this time. He won't be able to attend the fair himself, as it's right on Golden Week, which is a working week for him.

He doesn't keep all his older games. Which ones were you looking for?

I was hoping for Promenade, Lemuria and, although I realize it's almost certainly long gone, an English copy of Ravens.

Do you reckon there will be a decent supply of My Fair Princess available or is it likely to sell out right away? The translation reads well by the way, sounds like a fun game!

It´s a shame his older (and even newer games) is so difficult to find.

I´m also looking for Lemuria and Promenade, and Eureka City, Last Seven Days, Unregistered Detective too. Searched all the Japanese online store that I know and nothing (even the one with used games):-(

Which one has used games? I know I've seen it before, but now I can't find my link. Thanks!

I really wish I could attend this year, but my travel money is being saved up for Summer Comiket. So far, there are several expansions that I would be interested in acquiring if I could. Minerva also looks worth a try.

I'm hoping that at least some of the games will be available at game shops in August when I'm there.

I would love info on any places in Japan that sell used games, I'm looking to get so many games, not just by Kuro (only after about 15 or so Kuro games - so no problems there right?)

But seriously, if anyone has details on where to get used games that would be great. Brandon, does ebay operate in Japan?

Promenade might still be left some. There's several copies of English Ravens at Mandy (merc007 here on BGG). Lemuria is out, I believe.

My Fair Princess is highly unlikely to sell out straight away. He's printed 500 copies of it; he usually does 200 or 300. So they'll last all the way to Essen Spiel (and if they don't, it's a bomb success!)

zepo wrote:

Yes it is, but it's also hard to do anything about. With his productivity, if he held a back stock of games, he wouldn't have any place to live!

Trust me, I'm trying to find publishers for many of them. There's even some weird plans to do some Kickstarter for a set of a few of his crazier games (that won't find a publisher).

I´m also looking for Lemuria and Promenade, and Eureka City, Last Seven Days, Unregistered Detective too. Searched all the Japanese online store that I know and nothing (even the one with used games):-([/q]
