I was just in my local Home Depot and saw this Husky cantilevered organizer box on sale for $19.99. Turns out to be perfect for storing my Shadows of Brimstone minis; I can think of other games it would work for as well.

Looks like a Husky 770 298 based on the writing in the upper right corner.

These are good boxes and a bit heavy, I use them to store all my electrical parts and pieces.

Right, it's model 770 298. Looks like I'll be able to fit both City of Ancients and Swamps of Death minis in it.

Ugh, so need to stop trying to read without my glasses...

What does Shadow of Brimstone have to do with storing Descent?

reread and still baffled...

Hobby aquariums are just like board games: except wet, fishy, and you can't play them.

I was also wondering why the OP needed a bait-and-switch. LOL

I love these cases. I use them for hardware, Legos, and games. For games, they make an excellent way to transport multiple games for trips. I get 15+ games, with rule books and boards in one case.
BTW, there are 2 different sizes of cases; don't know if HD carries both. It looks like you have the larger one?

I too use mine for Lego -- in my case, Mindstorms. Works perfectly.

Hadn't even considered using it for minis, but now I'm going to give it a second look. My Star Trek: Attack Wing collection might benefit from this kind of storage!

I picked this up for $25 a few weeks ago at my local HD. I LOVE it for storing all my bits and baubles plus miniatures for D&D Attack Wing. It's been a great storage solution for that.

In my case it went like:
"Well, I don't own Descent so I can skip that topic"
*mark read*
Repeat that step all of yesterday.
Today I thought
"Hmm, it's a pretty active topic, maybe it's useful for other games too."

Same thing here, only I don't have the "reading without glasses on" excuse. I'm just dumb.
I entered the topic so excited about a Descent-specific storage solution for only $20. Pretty disappointed when I realized my error...

Ha. I was wondering what the heck, then I saw the issue in the Subject line.

Actually, this box might also work well for Descent.

I'll preach to the choir...I read it as "Descent" as well.

That said it does look solid and nobody had tossed up a link previously?

Home Depot link to the DECENT box

Well...I actually have two of these.
I store DESCENT minis in it!
I've actually converted 2nd edition back to 1st so I needed two.
1st only fits in one.

Picked up 2 more today. Would have gotten another, but the other 2 on the shelf had damage.
These are carried under the name Keter at Northern Tools, as black cases with yellow bins. They have a smaller size also, which I didn't see (as Husky) at HD.
