Had a very tentative playhthrough, aided, thankfully, by an ex-French teaching Mother! Slowly making sense of the rules...

Your hand is kept secret, but how much information can you share about the cards in your hand? Or can you only speak about the cards you've played on the table?

Is the support token removed by the Etourdi coup dur card drawn at random, or do you get to choose which support token to remove? If you don't have any left, do you take one off another player to discard?

We found that the less you are permitted to say about your hand and your support decision the better the game is.

We play it that you chose a token as usual but do not play it, instead discard it. If you do not have a token, nothing happens.

Which makes the function of the Mutisme card rather questionable...

Or is the Mutisme coup dur card referring to the fact that you can't play a Discours/speech during the game? Not literally stop speaking to the other players.

A house rule could be that you're only allowed to speak French.
