Seems like some new players are joining up and playing this game. With that in mind, does anyone else have custom haunts they can share with us? I posted my #50 post-playtest with counters and haven't heard anything since.

Please give me feedback so I can decide if I need to improve it or make more haunts for fans alike. Thank you!

Do you have a link were you posted it? I have some good Ideas, perhaps they need a little help.

Hello Giles. Here's the links:
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/fileinfo.php?fileid=19024

I playtested this game a few more times and found it to be way too hard for the Traitor. I'm editing it and will post the revisions up soon.

Thank you for your interest!

Hi FOlks !
I got the game 4 days before and had the chance to play it yesterday.
My party of 4 enjoyed the game very much.
So much that I intend to create a scenario based on the movie "Saw".
All Players awake in the basement and every one has a deadly problem
to deal with.
So everyone would have a own script he has to read and then the scenario
starts.

Sorry for my english as I am from germany.

What do you think about such a scenario ?

Based on the 40 or so games I've played of this, I think the biggest enjoyment factor in this game besides the theme is the cooperative aspect. If every single person has to read their own script, then are they working separately? If they are working together, they could tell each other any amount of information (thus defeat the point of multiple scripts). If they are separate, then I don't think it will be as fun because the game's mechanics are too simple for free for alls. (Person with the highest might/speed will win.)
I haven't seen the movie Saw so my ability to develop your idea might be limited.

Other news: Revisions for scenario 50 have been posted:
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/fileinfo.php?fileid=20446.

Leave me your comments if you try that scenario.

Thanks for your thoughts !

I will try your scenario as soon as I find one to translate it in german.
I could translate it myself but I fear I would spoil my experience if I knew both sides.
Nonetheless I want to play it very soon !
btw: shouldn´t it be Scenario 51 as the game itself has 50 Scenarios ?

About your thoughts for my planned scenario.
Thanks for your feedback.
My concept is that everyone has to solve his problem but also
needs one of the others to fulfill it.
So I think it would be interesting to see
if the 4 players can work together by promising that everyone helps
the other and then *bamm" someone of them is a traitor and betrays the others (a traitor is not certain, I plan to give (in a 4 Player Game) everyone a card out of 6 cards and one card could be the traitor).

A possible chainreaction may occur in the consequence
that former friends now work against each other.

I also plan to "handicap" the heroes (less speed, less might)
depending on their tasks.
For example: in one of the heroes legs some "flesh-eating" worms were implanted. gulp
He has 10 Rounds to prevent that the worms eat their way up his leg to his stomach, which would kill him. To save himself he has to find an item (e.g. Saw) and a capable (High Knowledge) Hero who could cut of his leg. One Handicap would be that every 3 Rounds he loses one Speed and Might.
The operation would have to take place in the bathroom, for hygienic
reasons and so on...

Crazy thoughts, hm ?

Jay,

Why did you number your Curse of the Skull #50 when there is alredy a #50 (A Little Night Murder)? Is your Curse of the Skull meant to replace A Little Night Murder? If so is this because you felt "A Little Night Murder" was a particularly bad Haunt and needed replacing or just because it is triggered by the Skull Omen which is the Omen you wanted to trigger your Haunt?

Please excuse me if these questions are answered by reading the Haunt. I haven't read it except for the title because I haven't played it yet.

Thanks for your contribution to the Betrayal Community,
