Isn't this game just a re-skinning of the old Dragon Dice that was put out back in 1995? Why start it over again?

LOL Not even close! Completely difffernent schemes, mechanics and dice.

Although it is a re-skinning of the other DiceMasters games which were released last year and THAT is a re-implementation of Quarriors.

No one says ya have to like it or play it.

A couple of my friends are starting to get into this. I ask the question because they are wanting me to try it out as well, and I don't want to play the old same dice game I played 20 years ago.

The game from 20 years ago is still alive and doing OK. But Dice Masters isn't even remotely close to being the same game.

I play both (yes, STILL), and they are VASTLY different. You should at least play it once to see.

also, read some of the information in the forums.

I'd recommend watching a playthrough video to get to grips with the gameplay mechanics. If there are no good D&D ones yet them one of the other Dice Masters versions would be just as good.

Perhaps the ones in this thread.
