Well written article, but is weyland really as terrible as the article implies?

Did O&C do nothing for weyland?

In case of agendas and remote protection O&C didn't change anything. High-Risk Investment might replace Government Contracts.

All viable Ice (Fire Wall, Orion (1 of) and Wormhole) are still very slow and bring the 1 sub weakness.

Actually I am very interested in The Valley.
Capital Investors and Negotiator might turn the table, but Negotiator looks quite wacky on the first sight, but it might still be viable.

The real issue with Weyland deckbuilding is still that you either bring a strange Off the Grid deck or you have to splash for Ash. Scoring 4-2 or 5-3 agendas without Ash protection can not reliably done. And if they have the Plascrete you can not even punish the runner for stealing the agenda...

Decent article but the writer almost completely ignores Blue Sun's tier 1 power level.

Sure the two early IDs are suffering, but the faction as a whole has amazing rush capabilities which are backed up by the constant threat of SEA Scorch Scorch.

I will agree that O&C didn't do much for the faction besides Checkpoint, Space Ice, Housekeeping, and High-Risk Investment. This is speaking from a competitive standpoint. From a casual standpoint the faction really opened up and all the new IDs are very interesting to play with.

They're in the same space now with O&C as when HB got their big box. There were some new options, and there's foundation for an alternate playstyle (banking on economy that's not in the actual cashpool and thus cannot be denied with Siphon, vamp, etc, for example) than the one they're used to, but more stuff needs to be in place for the truly new playstyle to manifest in tier 1.

Wow...

1. Grey text on a black background.
2. Text size ridiculously small.
3. Serif font instead of sans-serif.

Each one of these choices makes the article harder to read. It's almost as if the author didn't want anyone to read it.

You could say it a bit nicer, but yeah, it's not the most readable of articles.

Probably just an editing error, seeing as the rest of the website (while maintaining the colour scheme) goes for a larger, sans-serif font.
