Has any fellow geek had any dealings with either Esdevium or Hobbygames, I know they are wholesalers who deal trade only according to their websites but if an order is big enough (probably over £150 at least) will they consider direct trade.

Wholesalers sell to retailers, not directly to the public.

I have dealt with both in the past [trade and retail], now I believe they are trade only and Esdevium don't really want to be bothered with boardgame-only orders as they can't supply demand at the level of their min order, which is 500 pounds. Its much easier to store and sell cards in case quantity [ie. boxes of displays].

Hobbygames are slightly less dedicated to the boardgame hobby though their catalogue was always interesting.

Any gameseller should do at least a 10% discount for a 150 order and will then cleverly set that against the carriage charge.

What were you looking for, Darren?
