I resently played this game and i was unsure about a couple of things:

1. if you have a large enough rocket you could sent more than one mission up. for instance on a stage two rocket five orbital satalites fit. can you thus execute that mission five times with one rocket? (same for a combination of stage two rocket with one man capsule.

2. In the above case and also in the case of more than one mission a year (because of multiple launch platforms). If you execute the same mission twice what mission results are first applied? simply the one for which you first roled?, and if so what happenes to the precentiles of the second mission? and if after both missions what is used (in the case of a successfull and a failed mission?

I had the same cuestion some time ago, and I ask directly to fritz bonner and the answer was:

> hi Fritz:

> rockets, some thing like a 2 capsule of the same
> player docking in space, or moon missions like a
> capsule in one rocket, and lunar module in another,

>
> can this be done?
++++YES, Joint missions , this is two or three seperate launches
linking up
in earth orbit or lunar orbit

>
> or lunching 2 missions at the same time about
> consecutive mille stones like lunar pass and lunar
> orbit.
>

> do you had to aplay the 3% penalti to the lunar orbit?

++++++++ NOT a problem having them all launch together and the first
mssion
performs the pass first and if successful the second follows with no
EXTRA
penalty...

++++ YES, you can have a maximum up to Three manned craft on a rocket ,
IF
it can support the PAYLOAD weight...So Three mercury capsules maximum,
a Gemini with Kicker . Lunar module, and or a Apollo if it can carry
the
total payload weight...

There is also a limit of satellites.... max of 3 per payload and it
must be
the same mission... also not going over the payload wieght criteria of
the
rocket

i.e.

3 orbital

3 Lunar flyby

3 Lunar landing

3 to Mars

3 to Venus etc..

Hey if there is something you want to try or experiment in a particular
game, alter the rules in that game and see if they make it
interesting...
who knows! Right?

Yours,

Fritz
