After reading the rules and thinking I got it, I started setting up the game.
Something doesn't click. The rules tell you to take one man from each player in order to decide playing order, but there are no extra man besides the 20 that are on the buildings.
Just use the one to mark the player order in the Famine Track, or the extra for defining the saint (it's all in the Famine Track). You should have 22 - 20 for the houses, 1 for player order and one for saint worship
Also there are 4 famine level/order tracks one for each player. How do we mark the famine for each player?
It's just one Famine Track, you can use 2 of them because in the back side it's the continuation (from level 19 to 37) but the others are extra.
What the game lacks and you should do it's players screens. After some plays you'll see how important they are.
Last Q, there's one neutral color wooden cube in the box, what is it for?
To track the Famine Level that is the same to all players.
P.s. Is there an advanced player aid somewhere with all the rules summary?
You really don't need one, the 4 player aids that are in the game have all the information you need (although big - there are some smaller versions). They are very good. I suggest however that you go to the files section an get:
1) Solo variant rules for the game. They're awesome;
2) Screens to hide what you're doing in phase 2 - City);
3) Antiquity Saint Cards (help viewing more quickly who's worshiping who.;
4) The box insert, it's a must for keeping everything in place
5) The individual boxes in book style for each player. They're just the upper level of cooliness and geekness
This is a great game, one of my favourites.
Now a curiosity: Did you know that the names that appear on the graves are from the playtesters?
