My father (circa 1945). He navigated B-24's (5thAF 22ndBG) in the Pacific Theater.

He can remove face up disrupted markers from adjacent "soldiers". Is a "soldier-artillery" considered a soldier for this purpose?

Thanks.

Yes, artillery is just a modifier for soldiers and some other rules will specifically apply to that subtype, the command abilities affect soldiers generally.

Just to shed a little more light on this for the sake of clarification - if you look at the top left-hand corner of a unit stat. card under the name of a unit you will be told what it is. The first name tells you what it is, and any other names indicate a "subtype."

Examples: (these are first and foremost considered "soldiers")

1. PAK 38 Antitank Gun: (type) Soldier (subtype) Artillery

2. M1 81mm Mortar: (type) Soldier (subtype) Artillery

3. BMW R75: (type) Soldier (subtype) Motorcycle
