Hey, I don't remember Lincoln loaning me that shirt when we played this...

Wait a minute.

Am I fired?

Does Lincoln usually loan you a shirt before filming?

I prefer to game shirtless, but clipping the microphones on is quite a bit more painful that way.

Great episode!

Who knows what you were wearing under the table in the puppet episode.

Transmogrify puts the new card into your hand, not your discard pile.

Two episodes in a row where Nikki's shirt has eyes that spy on the action on the table.

Sigh... it even says that ON THE CARD ITSELF. My only (lame) defense is that the game has LOTS of cards..? And they were all new to me..? And I was emotionally kind of out of it, having just fired Aaron..?

FWIW, at least I mostly hurt myself, since I was the one who went the Transmogrify route.

Great show!

Can I ask where the large red/blue meeples on display in the background came from? Hoping to find something similar for my bookcase.

Denise,

Those are Dice Towers that we purchased at Strategicon from Blue Panther Games. They have changed the design since we purchased them less than 2 years ago. They are now knock down versions where they can be stored flat and assembled when needed. They are still quite nice and functional. They will again be at Gamex-Stratigicon in Los Angeles during Memorial Day weekend.

I think it's a trade; Rich gets to be in GameNight! and you get to be in the next season of Mad Men.

Lincoln is on a roll!
By the way, Game Night is my favourite boardgame session show. It captures the true flow of the games, while also keeping it fun and entertaining. Now all I have to do is get an acting job on a major hit TV show and then I can steal Aaron's seat for an episode! Muwahahahaha! Keep up the great work guys.

Two episodes with Aaron, maybe he has been replaced? Also, did you move house, or are you filming elsewhere now? I don't know whether to start with Dominion, I've always played others sets, and there are so many expansions now. I'm already started with Trains, and don't know if I need both!

I was also going to point out the Transmogrify thing.

It seemed to me that the Traveller cards don't work terribly well with Treasure Trove, because Treasure Trove tends to bloat your deck a bit, slowing down your upgrade path. Still, Lincoln won the game, so it didn't hurt him that badly.

A couple of other nitpicks:
When Dave played Swamp Hag for the first time, Nikki had a Caravan Guard in her hand (she played it on her turn, immediately following) but forgot to use its reaction ability. So she could have gotten its $1 a turn earlier.

Ratcatcher can only be called at the start of your turn. At one point Nikki played Lost City to draw two cards, then called Ratcatcher to trash a Curse. But that was too late to do that. And we got a peek at her hand before she played the Lost City, and it looked to me like the Curse was one of the two she drew.

Mark,

We've only moved to a different room in our house. As for Aaron he has not been replaced. He'll be on the show after the next one.

Thanks for the note and for watching.
