This was a cheap little game I picked up at the local book store. It makes for a great little game for two players, but when you play with more it seems far too easy for someone to go out on the first hand. After a little playing, it seemed since 10 points worked well for two players and 15 worked okay for three that it might work better to continue the trend.

So, for two players, stick with the rules with each player starting at 10 points. For more than two players, simply start each player with 5 points per player (3 players = 15, 4 players = 20, 5 players = 25, 6 players = 30).

This limits the likelihood that someone will far too easily go out the first hand and gives everyone a chance to most likely play at least once. There's still a much slimmer chance that someone could go out the first hand but any more points would make the game drag on far longer than is necessary.
