I was happy to organise a final run on the scenarios. The playtesters have been asked to simply play the game, no taking notes, no proofreading, no rules remarks, just be players.
8 scenarios have been played (half of the playbook)back and forth, this is 16 games played. It was a lot of fun. We noticed that now that all the players know well the rules 14 of the games have been played under 2 hours!
So, 2 games in one evening or one afternoon is easily achievable.
The commanding rules reflect very well the rigid chain of command of the period and nicely speed up the game.
We'll be organising a second run for the other scenarios, and we'll see if the 2 hours goal is achieved again.
