Hi everybody,

here a small session report from the ITS Tournament on the Role Play Convention (RPC) in Cologne.

Well first of all: I had a blast. We were 16 players participating and everybody had fun playing. My main goal was to get more play practice since I rarely played since N3 game out (although I love it). So my list and strategy was probably not the best and I only landed on the 13th place but still had a good time playing the tabletop I love most.

Two lists with 300 points with 12XP Spec-Ops were permitted for the tournament.

List #1:
SpecOps: Muyib, Hacker, Spitfire, CH:Mimetism
I do not think Aleph Toolbox can create two combat groups right now, so the last 5 units are in the second combat group for that matter.

List #2:
SpecOps: Muyib, Engineer, Panzerfaust, +1 BS

We played BiotechVore, Beaconland and Nimbuszone from the ITS rule book.

Biotech Vore:
For this mission I played my more HI focused and less specialist focused list #1. The main point of the mission is to get out of a 16 inch area beginning at your game table end. Additionally the deployment zone is only 8 inch wide. Well, my strategic did not pay off at all. The opponent managed to get a sniper up a roof and had -6 on hitting him there... And I did not manage to get my guys out of there fast enough. Also I had really bad luck when trying to save my Azrail with a Nasmat. He managed to shoot my doctor controlling the Nasmat and the Nasmat itself on the first partial order, namely movement so my Azrail was still lying unconscious in his big armor cushions.
Well, after all my opponent in this game was the later winner of the tournament so I guess he also had way more experience than me.

Yeah, I rocked that scenario with list #2. I actually managed to get 6 or 7 points (do not remember). I placed a lot of beacons (4 or 3 vs 2) in the middle zone and additionally managed to get a Ragik hacker close to the enemy deployment zone and drop another beacon there which got additional points. Sadly there was not enough time for the Ragik left to hack the enemy HVT.

Well, here I lost again quite high, this time with list #2. Problem was: We were under a lot of time pressure to finish up the tournament because the fair was already closed for the public and the different booths were also packing.
My opponent managed to destroy my total reaction remotes very fast and the terrain was a little bit stupid.

The Prizes:
Well, the prize pool was amazing. There were enough prizes to go through all participants three times and everybody can pick his/her favorite prize. So I ended up with a wooden building, scenery containers from Micro Art Studios, activation counter from Micro Art Studios and additionally some patches nobody wanted. No I finally have a Hassassin Bahram pin additionally to my Haqqislam Patch

Thanks for reading, and keep playing!
