I'd probably go with Panzerschlacht Blood and Armor in Hungary October 1944.

Interestingly enough, when I look at it, both of my cats do share their names with board games. Goblin and Willow.

Coincidence. Willow is a soft and pretty cat with splotches of grey and Goblin is an ugly mischevious freak.

My son is actually named Ludo (short for Ludovic).
His twin sister is named Cleo (proactively short for that game about architects).

I have a buddy who named his dog Sackson.

Our cats are named after a jazz musician, an author, and a Greek goddess. No games, though....

Perhaps simply "Einfach" would be easier to live up to.

If I had to name a pet after a boardgame I'd name it "Verflixxt".

From what I've seen pets seem to get those kind of pet names after a while anyway.

Taj, of course. Isi and Yinsh sound good to, but they probably make better pet names. However, we name our cats after characters from our favorite movies.

My name: Jon
Daughter: Kieran
Wife: Lainie

So, when Lainie was pregnant with kid #2 last year, we figured he needed an "M" name. The following first and middle name suggestions were all shot down by the wife:

Milton Bradley
Mario Luigi
Mel Grande

I was thinking recently that I would like a pair of kittens that I could call Reiner and Ruediger.

I know, that's not a boardgame.

Before our first child was born, I was seriously lobbying for Avalon Hillary, but it was shot down. My suggestion for a boy was Thomas Scott Russell, so I guess I was after game companies rather than games. Our youngest is Hanson, but we used an o rather than the e. (My wife's heritage is Swedish, not Norwegian.)

We are hoping to give our kids Tickets to Ride as they mature. Having kids is always a Risk (some might say the Classic Risk). They were generated with a Bang!
