And so, the very voice of Death (in the Discworld video adaptions), has shuffled off this mortal plane.

Isn't it amazing that the roles he's most famous for came late in life? See? There's hope for you aging chit-chatters yet!

Us aging chit chatters know he's famous for Hammer time.

He's looking real sharp in his 1940's fedora. He's got nerves of steel, an iron will, and several other metal-themed attributes. His fur is water tight and he's always up for a fight.

He's a semi-aquatic egg-laying mammal of action. He's a furry little flat-foot who'll never flinch from a fray. He's got more than just mad skills, he's got a beaver tail and a bill.

Francisco Scaramanga is considered by some to be the one villain that could be considered a match for James Bond in professionalism, skill, intellect and wit.

I think that all right-thinking people in this country are sick and tired of being told that ordinary, decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am.

I remember him as 'Blind Pew' in Treasure Island:

Despite the character's "disability", Lee made him extremely menacing. Here he is outside the Admiral Benbow Inn, just before Doctor Livesey runs him down with his horse:

EDIT: Almost forgot -- Dr. Wilbur Wonka:

Which was originally planned to be a single movie, until the studio brass found the film so epic and, of course, long, that they decided to split it in two. This was a problem for the actors, who had originally been paid to make one movie, not two. Eventually the producers relented and paid them all a second time.

A combined Three Musketeers would have run at least four hours. As it is the two movies are great binge watching. They were even released to theaters a year after the fact as a double feature which people could do just that with. I did it at the time, and it was an amazing experience.
