Is the new version going to have any changes? I don't own 1st or 2nd and wonder if the reprint is going to have any updates/changes?

Not likely, since they're brining out a new expansion for the 2nd edition later this year. They'd lose a lot of sales that way.

Well, more or less like any typo / balance fixes, etc is what I meant - didn't think they'd change cards/board stuff or anything

Balance fixes? This is just about the most balanced asymmetrical game I know.

No, there is no need for 3rd edition.

I've never played the game, so that's really cool to hear.

I do look forward to getting it, I was wondering if I should wait for the reprint (probably because of cost)

The reprint will be exactly the same as any other 2nd edition copies out there, so the only possible reason to wait is cost.

Only the initial reprint (a few years ago) after the first print run had errata fixes. The rulebook is clean--game is balanced.

The biggest difference between older and new printings of 2nd edition is the action dice, which are either matte (older) or glossy (newer).

When is a reprint supposed to hit stores?

I believe they said August for the base and the 1st expansion, then november for the 2nd exp

Also, I ordered the base game, so hopefully they keep the printings the same or I'll be sad.

The only changes in the upcoming print run will be minor tweaks in wording in the Rulebook and cards for clarity. There will be no changes in game play.

I'm curious what you mean by this. Do you mean that with increased availability the price of the game should go down?

It's almost $80 on Amazon; what's a reasonable or average price for this game?

Pretty sure it's around $60 at online discount retailers. $80 isn't a bad price if you can get free shipping...
