When can you play the Ambassador card? (the card text is at the bottom) Here's a scenario that came up yesterday while playing:
Player 1 has one ship. He moves that ship to one of the (already revealed) islands and completes a mission. He rotates the card and then plays the Ambassador card, saying he should be able to "discover" the island again right now.
I argued that to "discover" the island means you need to perform the "discover" action, and since his ship already performed a "mission" action, that he wouldn't be able to play that card with that ship because it has no action left to perform. I thought he would have to wait till his next turn to play this card.
Ambassador Card Text:
You get the advantage of discovering the Island of the Bards, the Island of the Scholars, or the Island of the Merchants another time. Requires: You have rotated the respective card at least to level 1.
I disagree. It doesn't say that you *may* discover it again, and it doesn't say that you *are* discovering it again - it just says that you get the *advantage* of discovering it again.
I can't see why that wouldn't be allowed immediately after discovering it for the first time, even before your ship has returned.
Edit: in your post, you say that you wouldn't be able to "play that card with that ship", but you're not playing the card with any ship, you're just playing the card - nothing on there says that it requires a ship to play.
