2007 sees the launch of UK Games Expo. We aim to be a show case for all that is best, fun and fascinating in the world of games. Whether it is board games, card games, miniatures, computer gaming or role playing games we aim to present it all in an event which will be entertaining and appeal to men, women, children and in particular families.
Our major Co-Sponsors
We are delighted to be able to announce that UK Games Expo has 3 Major Co-Sponsors and many additional Sponsors. The Main Co-sponsors are:
Upper Deck Entertainment
Children and Families:
Although UK Games Expo will have a lot for established game players we also present many attractions
that families and children will enjoy. At UK Games Expo most of our games will have an appeal to people
of all types and children from around 8 years and upwards. There will be goodies and free samples. Many companies
are displaying games to sit down and try out. There will be painting competitions and a board game tournament
just for children aged 8 to 11 with prizes of games. There is a team competition for schools to enter teams into with a
top prize of tickets for Alton Towers for the team and copies of games for the schools to start games clubs.
In addition UK Games EXPO takes place in Tolkien county and the Tolkien Society will be taking groups on short 20 minute tours
to Tolkien's "Two Towers".
Details of the childrens events will be on the website and in the January newsletter.
Board Game Companies and Events at UK Games Expo
We wish to create an event inspired by the great Essen Spiel in Germany where gamers of all types and ages
can try out new games. We wish to cater for established adult gamers, families and Children and believe the boardgame events
