Re: [iOS] Battlelore $3.99 For REAL...
Last time it went on sale, it was for like 8 hours. So if you're deciding, "I can get this when I get home" DON'T. Run, don't walk.

...and much more, Fantasy Flight almost never does a sale on any of their games.

Reviews seem to indicate the rolls are skewed heavily towards the AI?

Last time, it was less than three hours from Hot Deals post to regular price.

Nice to see this deal poke its head back up.

Been discussed in the BL forum a few times. I strongly disagree and am definitely not alone. A few have claimed it though.

I personally think it's sour grapes, (edit: and selective memory) lol.

OK, thanks. That's pretty much what I suspected.

I had not heard this, but I concur with Andy that this claim is bogus. The RNG in the app seems fine to me.

I was certainly inwardly griping about it as I played last night, but I know it's just a perception. Also, people forget the Daquan archers have a lower probability of hitting.

I read somewhere that you cannot save in the middle of a match and that there is no asynchronous online play. Is this really true?

For me the whole point of digital board gaming is the flexibility in time investment allocation. If I have to finish an entire match in one sitting I would rather just play a physical board game.

It's worth it for the single player campaign only. Everything else is just icing on the cake.

Agreed. But to clarify, yes, you cannot save in the middle of a match. Of course, it's still much faster than the physical game. Even if you don't include setup and tear down, the actual game play is much faster, as usual with digital.

Nope. It's a GREAT game. One of the easiest and best selling tactical miniatures game systems ever made (same basic game engine as Memoir '44, Comands and Colors, Battlecry, Battles of Westeros, etc.) and the port is fantastic.

See reviews here and here.

Bought this on steam in part because I was afraid my tablet wouldn't be able to run it well, and in part because I like the bigger screen on my laptop.

What is the difference between this mobile and PC version?

Judging by the steam version, probably very little. The steam version tells you to tap and drag as if you were playing on a tablet. It does however, have resolution options so you're at least not playing with side bars, unlike other iPad-centric ports.
