I am leaning towards "Wordplay."

Suggestions need not be game related, and can't be rated "R" (or NC-17, etc.)

Thank you. My wife is sick, I have nobody to game with, and I am bored.

I have heard some good things about Wordplay. And I love listening to him on NPR every Sunday.

You could also look for some classics, like Captain Blood or African Queen.

Are any of the newer star trek movies worth watching?

Can't say. Unfortunately, last one I saw was that one with Malcolm McDowell where Kirk died (can't even remember the name).

Wordplay is pretty good, but everyone better be at least interested in crosswords. (It has nothing whatever to do with Scrabble). Saw that the other night.

The Trek he's referring to is Generations, which I think the weakest of the 4 new Treks. First Contact is clearly the best of the 4, perhaps even of all 10. Insurrection and Nemesis are both pretty good, but are rightly accused of feeling like extended episodes.

robot Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country is my fave since Wrath of Khan if you want the original cast. Lots of Klingons and painful Shakespearean quotes. As far as the Next Gen crew, try Nemesis. Our first real good look at Romulus and the "dark secret" of Romulan culture. Cool ships and crazy starship tactics too. robot

Just out of curiosity is there anybody here who liked Star Trek: The Final Frontier?

I didn't think so.

I watched Mulholland Falls a few days ago-- a movie I had not even heard of before until just recently-- and it is exceptional. Nick Nolte is top-notch as a cop in 1950s Los Angeles. I think it's rated R though.

Somewhat related, have you seen Word Wars? I thought it was somewhat nifty.
