Just ordered the base, Paladins, Mercenaries, Forces of Darkness, and the 3/4 expansion. I'm stoked. Any advice for a beginner?

Just play base game first and play a lot before going to the expansions.
I still think Dungeon Twister is a 2-players game and 3/4 expasion is avoidable

This was a little rule I didn't regard my first few plays - when a player reveals a room and its tokens, they will place all characters and opponent's objects, but not their own objects.
The opponent will place the player-revealing-the-room's objects.

I agree with this completely. Get to know the base game really well before throwing in anything else.

Or the 3/4 game. Which is actually the base game, but for three or four players. laugh
