1."Q: If a family is completely saved during the Mystic Barrier, how does its effect apply?
A: The effect is applied at the end of the Mystic Barrier phase, before the active player finishes his turn."
I still don't get it!Who gets the reward?Who is the active player in this case? The player who spent a Moon Crystal to save the last member of a family? Why are the effects applied only at the end of the Mystic Barrier and not immediately after the villager was saved?
White Moon rules, page 7 wrote:
At the end of the Yang phase where the fourth Crystal is placed, the Mystic Barrier is set in place. A special game phase then takes place. It takes place after the Yang phase of the active player (or neutral board).
(Also see the illustration on page 12: Yang Phase, step 4.)
White Moon rules, page 5 wrote:
The moment all members of a family are saved, the active player applies the corresponding reward.

As enumerated on the “Effects of the Villagers” play aid, when saving the Zhou family “the Mystic Barrier is setup at the end of the turn”. This is clarified in the F.A.Q.
2.If two or more Taoists are on the same village tile are they allowed to give or exchange Moon Crystals?(They are not trying to exorcise any ghosts)
There are only two ways a player can use Moon Crystals, as given on page 7:
• The Moon Crystals can be spent by the players during exorcisms
• They can be placed on the Receptacles
