I could use a little help here in finding where to place this - our situation is just a little strange, so any advice would be welcome!
Our shop does a weekly podcast with rotating topics. We have employee specialists who each do a separate cast - one for Comics, one for Magic, one for Tabletop gaming, and an additional Interview podcast that can fit inside any of those headings (or none at all) depending on who we are talking to that month.

We recently put up our podcast looking at several different FFG Star Wars games, and I went to link it, but it seems like the Add to Database feature is for adding an entire Podcast feed, which is probably a great feature for those casts which only focus on Tabletop gaming - but is tougher for us, because I don't want to be throwing Comic podcasts on to BGG, and I don't think the admins want it either.

So is there a way for me to add them manually, and where would I do that? Or should I approach this differently?

Edit: Alternatively, if it's OK that some of the casts will not be Board Game related, I will just add the feed. Just need some advice - thanks!

Thanks for the help!
Dan

Podcasts are automated
on the Misc tab
on BGG it's Adddd to Database
on RPGG it's Create

all we need is the feed URL

Board Game related podcasts should be added to the BGG domain
RPG related Podcasts are added to the RPGG domain

there is no feature for Generic Podcasts

Gotcha. Thanks - that's about what I figured. Our podcasts are all in the same feed, so if I add it to the database, it will add all of them, non-board-game-related ones included. So I either have to add podcasts that are potentially not relevant, or concede that it won't work to share it this way under the current system. Would it simply be preferred that I don't add it, then, or is it okay to have unrelated casts added 1x-2x a month?

I appreciate the response.

You could also start to (sub)categorize your individual podcast episodes, and then just submit the feed URL of the boardgame-related podcasts.

Your system is quite capable of this, as shown by Doxcast #8, which has been categorized as both "podcast" and "games", and so is the only thing showing up for the podcast feed of items currently categorized with both categories: http://paradoxcnc.com/category/podcast+games/feed/

Ah, I didn't know that could work that way. I'm not super familiar with the RSS system. That's very helpful - I will look into this, thank you!
